About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to guide production personnel in the fabrication, assembly, packaging and/or inspection of medical devices.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year in house experience in medical device production.
• Ability to read/write/understand product documentation and specification drawings written in English.
• Ability to use small measuring devices and gauges.
• Basic computer entry/retrieval skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Employee engagement
• Coach and develop leaders
• Ensure compliance to quality system policies and department procedures.
• Communicate expectations, assignments, and responsibilities clearly and professionally to leaders.
• Gather departmental data for departmental boards.
• Perform other duties and special projects as necessary.
• Accurately and efficiently document employee Time and Attendance, Merit / Performance reviews, Quality, Workmanship and Disciplinary issues, and monthly efficiencies.
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
