About The Position

This management-level position is responsible for understanding the manufacturing process as it relates to equipment start-up and operations. The role involves supervising minor routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment, ensuring root cause corrections, and participating in these processes. The Supervisor will monitor, maintain, and improve key performance indicators daily, lead the training of new employees in production, operation, lockout-tag out, forklift, and other business needs. They will accurately track and enter production data into the Work Order system, verify shift production against the induction report, and direct daily shift production of assigned departments, ensuring all products meet quality specifications. The role also includes accurately completing all administrative paperwork, achieving business goals in safety, quality, delivery, and cost, assisting with performance reviews, and other supervisory activities. Additionally, the Supervisor will lead daily toolbox meetings, support all company policies and procedures, execute coaching and corrective discipline, and ensure direct reports comply with all policies and procedures of The HC Companies. The position requires leading by example and performing all job duties in accordance with The HC Companies values, as well as performing other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess process troubleshooting skills to respond to and drive performance/people development
  • Must have a good working knowledge of production processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Must be a hands-on leader with strong writing and verbal communication skills and possess good communication/interpersonal skills and get along well with others
  • Must be able to read production schedule compliance
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to be shift flexible
  • Must adhere to all safety guidelines and foster a safe work culture
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
