We are looking for a Floater Production Supervisor who manufactures good quality and safe products by supervising staff, organizing and monitoring workflow, and promoting a safe and extraordinary place to work.

Requirements

Must be able to work all shifts and available weekends
Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in Production Management
HACCP Training
High level of Integrity
Meticulous attention to organized detail
Good analytical thinking skills
Knowledge of PC and Microsoft office applications
Good verbal and written Communication skills
Good knowledge in the implementation of policies & procedures
Good planning, organizing, and integration skills

Nice To Haves

Industry knowledge preferred
Bi-lingual (English & Spanish preferred)

Responsibilities

Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Responsible for obtaining positive results on production indicators such as efficiency, efficacy, labor efficiency, waste, and production downtime.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by 5s program.
Directs personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Implement lean manufacturing program to aid reduction of plant indicators.
