As a Supervisor Production in Fabrication and Weld, your goal is to coordinate the effective use of equipment, facilities, team members, and skill sets to meet all safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements for a group of departments and/or multiple shifts. This involves developing, training, and motivating team members, analyzing potential production problems and devising solutions, reviewing operational schedules, and managing team member assignments. You will also assist with monitoring manufacturing costs, quality, and production methods, and interact with engineers to improve processes. Additionally, you will use data to estimate work-hour requirements, recommend and implement continuous improvement projects, manage costs and budgets, inspect materials for quality compliance, and perform full managerial responsibilities including hiring, coaching, performance management, and budget oversight.
