Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead others by having a positive attitude and leading by example.
- Applied demonstrated proficiency in data analysis in inventory management systems and Microsoft Suite preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required preferably in a team size of 20+ and in a manufacturing environment.
- Combination of experience and education will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a specific department and team within the production process.
- Coordinate the team’s activities to accomplish the established production and safety goals.
- Manage and inspect the team’s output to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Teach the team company safety policies and enforce all safety regulations with a goal of zero incidents.
- Collaborate with the team and management to identify and implement ways to improve production and safety.
- Maintains record of production, scrap, inventory management, down time as well as lot traceability information in Dynamics AX or related software.
- Responsible for department reaching goals and development of a well-rounded high functioning team.
- Conducts downtime analysis and root cause analysis to adjust problems and drive continuous improvement.
- Work with departments surrounding production area to ensure that materials produced meet approved specifications.
- Perform as a key member or lead team in 5s and Lean initiatives.
- Help to mediate and resolve conflicts within the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
