About The Position
The Supervisor Pool position at the Long Beach Hilton involves leading, scheduling, and supporting the poolside food and beverage team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role requires assisting with all aspects of pool service, including food and drink delivery, inventory management, and opening/closing procedures. The supervisor is responsible for promptly resolving guest and operational concerns, escalating issues to management when necessary. A key part of the role is ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety standards through diligent monitoring of cleanliness and proper food handling. Additionally, the supervisor will support team members by stepping into service roles to maintain efficient poolside hospitality. This is a physically active, outdoor role requiring flexibility in scheduling.
Requirements
- 2+ years of server experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Must meet state minimum age to serve alcohol
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for entire shift, and work outdoors
- Flexible schedule availability—including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Resolve guest and operational concerns promptly and independently, escalating as needed to management.
- Ensure sanitation and safety standards are met by monitoring cleanliness and proper food handling.
- Support team members as needed, stepping into service roles to keep poolside hospitality flowing.
