About The Position

Supervisor Polysomnography at St Joseph Hospital Eureka. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Variable Shifts. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Sleep Center and Out Patient Studies for Cardiopulmonary. This includes coordinating an assigning work for the staff assisting in clerical work, coordinating patient in-take information and appointments, insurance pre-authorization, billing, tracking reimbursement, follow up with insurance companies and the business office on reimbursement, triage of phone calls, maintenance of electronic medical records, generation of reports, coordination of meetings, liaison to physician offices. Work at the Sleep Center and within the Respiratory Therapy Department typically involves a variety of complex clerical tasks requiring independence, judgment, and initiative in determining how the work is performed and appropriate actions to be taken. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (Upon hire)
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years leadership experience preferably in a medical setting, clinic, as an office manager/lead secretary.
