Supervisor - Pharmacy (A-shift M-F 6am - 2:30pm)
About The Position
This is an entry-level leadership role where the incumbent supervises production associates performing tasks related to loading and unloading freight, accounting for materials using multiple systems, and overseeing the assembly and installation of server racks and their components. The role involves ensuring process compliance and accuracy through the utilization of multiple internal and external systems and dashboards. The individual must maintain service level agreements and ensure subordinates follow safety protocols and standards. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals could result in additional costs, personnel issues, and serious delays in overall schedules. The role requires frequent interaction with customers, peers, and other site stakeholders on-site, in addition to subordinates.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Solid interpersonal and analytical skills are required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
- Generally prefer 3-6 years’ experience in material handling operations
Responsibilities
- Oversees, organizes, and coordinates cycle counts, inventory replenishments and material returns
- Ensures adequate safety measures are followed to protect personnel and property
- Advises subordinates with questions or problems in any aspect of work activities
- Monitors work and examines production areas for accuracy, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures
- Recommends and implements documented changes to procedures to improve efficiency, quality and safety
- Performs or assists subordinates in performance of duties
