In this role, as Pharmacy Technician Supervisor you will be responsible for the immediate and direct supervision of all the activities of pharmacy technicians, interns, and ancillary staff. You will provide direction to pharmacy personnel in managing their respective duties and offers guidance in handling special operations and administrative matters. You’ll manage staff and participates in employee scheduling, reviews, recommendation, and counseling. Additionally, you’ll monitor daily activities of all sections of the pharmacy workflows and take appropriate action(s) to ensure efficient and effective operations. This position is for evenings with night coverage.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED from an accredited school
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required
New York State Pharmacy Technician License
Two (2) years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

Prior hospital experience
Experience in a supervisory position and/or scope in work history.
