About The Position

Supervises operations for Patient Registration and Ambulatory Support Services for the department, ensuring the processes of patient registration, ambulatory front desk and reimbursement of physician services. This role assists the manager of Patient Accounts/Services, supervises full and part-time employees in Patient Services, compiles schedules, reports and statistics, establishes and maintains departmental procedures, and handles employee interviewing, hiring, corrective action, and evaluations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Relevant Experience (3 Years)

Responsibilities

  • Supervises operations for Patient Registration and Ambulatory Support Services for the department.
  • Ensures the processes of patient registration, ambulatory front desk and reimbursement of physician services.
  • Assists manager of Patient Accounts/Services.
  • Supervises full and part-time employees in Patient Services.
  • Compiles daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules, reports and statistics.
  • Establishes, maintains and updates departmental procedures.
  • Interviews, hires, takes corrective action and evaluates employees.
