About The Position

The Supervisor has the primary responsibility for the day to day operations of department, including planning, coordinating and supervising the activities of the nursing / technical and reception staff to ensure the delivery of quality patient care; providers leadership and serves as a resource for staff and physicians in the department. Attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• All Patient Care Supervisors will be required to train on the company’s IDX and EMR systems.
• Once training is complete, a proficiency examination will be given.
• All Patient Care supervisor/managers are required to pass these examinations with a demonstrated proficiency score of 90% or greater.
• All newly hired supervisor/managers will have no more than (2) opportunities to attain this proficiency within their initial training period.

Nice To Haves

• Formal training which will probably be indicated by a minimum – high school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Previous experience in medical practice supervision
• Proven leadership
• Demonstrated ability to organize, communicate effectively and shape work place attitudes
• Ability to evaluation situations and problem-solve
• Ability to share ideas effectively with others and in group situations
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to interact with people diplomatically
• Demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions in the absence of instructions.
