About The Position

The Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinators (PCCs) within AssistRx's specialty pharmacy operations. This role oversees daily team performance, workflow management, staffing, coaching, and operational execution to ensure exceptional service for patients, providers, and pharmaceutical partners. As a hands-on leader, you will monitor pharmacy workflow and phone queues, manage schedules and intraday staffing, provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, conduct one-on-one meetings and performance reviews, and foster a positive, high-performing team culture. You will partner closely with leadership and Human Resources on employee development, engagement, hiring, and performance management while identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery. This position plays a critical role in supporting service level agreements, quality standards, compliance requirements, and continuous operational improvement within a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years of leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmacy, call center, or customer service operations.
  • Experience coaching, developing, and managing employee performance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze workflow, manage schedules, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Experience interpreting operational metrics and using data to drive performance improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lead change, resolve conflict professionally, and build strong working relationships across teams.
