About The Position

The Supervisor, Patient Access is responsible for the 24/7 supervision of the on-site Access Services staff, which may also include PBX, patient scheduling, clinic registrars and off-site locations. Hospital Access Services departments facilitate patient, visitor and provider interactions within their ministry including access to both information and care. This position is responsible for staff scheduling and coverage, implementing a standardized approach in line with the vision of Revenue Cycle and accountable for quality results, caregiver engagement, and patient experience for the ministry. Requirements

• 3 years Experience in an integrated healthcare system in any aspect of access services or a related position.
• 1 year Personnel management, supervisory or lead experience of a team(s) of 5 or more; 2 years experience preferred.
• Demonstrates experience designing and implementing process changes, and successfully implementing standardized operational improvements, in collaboration with other leadership.

• Bachelor's Degree in preferred field: Healthcare related. Or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM)
• Upon hire: Certified Revenue Cycle Executive (CRCE)
• Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP)
