About The Position

In this role, you'll lead and support the Patient Access team while ensuring patients receive a welcoming, efficient, and seamless registration experience. As a trusted ambassador of Deaconess, you'll foster a culture of courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity, and optimism while helping your team deliver outstanding patient-centered service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Nice To Haves
- College degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of leadership experience is preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support the Patient Access team to ensure exceptional patient service.
- Oversee patient registration processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure payments are collected in accordance with established procedures.
- Assist with greeting, directing, and escorting patients and visitors as needed.
- Monitor daily operations and help resolve patient and staff concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
- Serve as an ambassador of Deaconess by cultivating a positive, patient-centered environment and promoting a culture of excellence.
