Requirements

  • High School Graduate or High School GED
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a hospital patient registration department, physician office setting, healthcare insurance company, or revenue-cycle related role in a healthcare setting.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Registration department, actively monitoring, coordinating, and evaluating all staff activities to guarantee the best and quickest service for our patients.
  • Provide clear direction and coordinate efforts for prior authorization and scheduling processes for both staff and patients.
  • Responsible for the daily administration of tasks, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving high patient satisfaction.
  • Supervising, guiding and motivating the registration department.
  • Uses reports and dashboards to monitor daily productivity of the department and individuals.
  • Monitors the accuracy of data entry by registration staff.
  • Responsible for continuing staff education and training.
  • Prepares monthly work schedule to ensure adequate staffing in all areas.
  • Responsible for covering any open shifts in the event no one is available.
  • Ability to work other locations as needed.
