This role assists the Manager, Director, and AVP in meeting performance goals and standards for Patient Access Departments. The Supervisor will assist the Manager in training registrars, provide guidance and feedback on employee performance through rounding, auditing, and screening registration work and computer reports. The position also involves registering and pre-registering patients as needed, assisting with appropriate staffing, and completing performance appraisals. Additionally, the Supervisor will ensure accurate time recording, maintain employee records (attendance, counseling, disciplinary actions), and document attendance for mandatory and employee development classes. This role represents Patient Access and Patient Financial Services on operational issues, manages daily cash and valuables functions with audits, produces reports, and interacts with other departments impacted by Patient Access processes. The Supervisor promotes a positive hospital image by adhering to Atrium Core Values.
