Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess the ability to lead and direct others.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Must possess knowledge of registration processes, insurance, scheduling, and/or hospital billing.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.
• Previous supervisory experience in healthcare field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily staff activities for the Patient Access Team.
• Organizes and coordinates daily staffing assignments.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assures high level of quality customer service.
