About The Position

Provides patient and family centered care through The Compass: St. Cloud Hospital's Nursing Professional Practice Model to achieve the hospital mission of improving the health and quality of life that reflects the healing mission of Jesus. Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities. Promotes development of and participation in research. Requires use of evidence in practice and management. Is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of Imaging and Outpatient Services nurses in the SCH and CCH Plaza Imaging Services Department. Provides leadership, coordination, direction and development to achieve departments goals and objectives. Responsible for cross-functional leadership of programs and services necessary to meet patient care needs. This position role models and supports an environment conducive to positive and collaborative relationships with all internal and external customers. Responsible for the retention and development of qualified staff while enhancing communication and feedback throughout the department. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participating in professional organizations, subscribing to and reading professional journals or other appropriate activities. Promotes development of and participation in research. Requires use of evidence in practice and management.

Requirements

  • 4 years clinical imaging experience
  • 2 years leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in nursing
  • Current license in the state of Minnesota
  • Advanced Radiology Life Support (ARLS) certification obtained within 6 months

Nice To Haves

  • National Certification in Radiology and Imagining Nursing preferred
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider preferred
