Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 a year plus bonus potential. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately. Requirements

  • 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Providing general supervision to employees in order fulfillment, distribution center.
  • Receiving, storing, delivering items and securing the warehouse.
  • Using various operations reports to accurately record and measure metrics to ensure efficient production levels.
  • Ensuring all team associates understand and operate within the organizational, operational, inventory controls, safety, and service policies and procedures.
  • Managing and developing a supervisory team responsible for directing all outbound warehouse activities and managing employee teams in the warehouse.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of filling orders to retail customers and the quality of products.
  • Coaching, training, directing, and counseling operations supervisors on overall performance.
  • Defining productivity expectations and efficiencies; monitoring progress regularly.
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities for employee development and performance improvements.
  • Ensuring safety and recommending maintenance improvements in the warehouse by conducting safety training, accident investigations, and equipment and facility inspections.
  • Investigating complaints involving such matters as damaged product, wrong product loaded onto trucks, inventory adjustments and variances, delays in shipments, and product quality issues; making necessary adjustments and improvements.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
