About The Position

The Supervisor, Organ Recovery Services provides daily leadership to an assigned team by supervising, guiding, and developing staff. The role ensures team members have the skills, tools, and equitable scheduling needed to meet current and future performance expectations, while monitoring ongoing projects. The position supports Organ Recovery operations by assisting Organ Recovery Coordinators in the operating room, on flyouts, and with kidney perfusion, including taking on-call shifts. It ensures recovery records are completed accurately and promptly, contributes to departmental goals, and helps uphold quality and compliance by documenting and addressing complaints, nonconformances, and accidents. The supervisor also supports policy development and regulatory adherence, and maintains organ recovery reporting systems by tracking import and local case data and providing timely statistical updates.

Requirements

At least 3 years of organ recovery or related healthcare work experience.
At least 1 year of supervision experience as a team leader, supervisor, or manager.
Valid driver's license.
CTP (Certified Transplant Professional) certification, or obtain it within one year of hire or promotion.
