About The Position

Sensient Technologies is seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to join their Operations team. This role is responsible for supervising plant operations to ensure the timely and complete production of high-quality sweet flavors, beverage ingredients, and food products, while maintaining a safe working environment. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Requirements

Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
A strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in various systems.
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of production and management.
Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset with the intention of streamlining team workflows.
Experience working in manufacturing, ideally food, chemical, or related industry.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to achieve production demands.
Monitor and participate in production processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency of production.
Foster a safe workplace by enforcing safety regulations and providing thorough training to enhance employee understanding of safety, quality, and productivity procedures.
Lead and develop the team in a professional environment, conduct shift start up meetings, and foster a safety and quality culture.
