About The Position

Substation Operations (Northern Operations) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual that possesses a high regard for personal accountability and understands the importance of commitment to safety, operational excellence, and enhancing customer experience. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high energy level and promote a positive work ethic in support of our corporate values as well as provide strong customer support. The Supervisor will supervise Operators (Senior Substation Operators, Assistant Substation Operators, GUWs, etc.) most of the time in the operation of substation equipment. As needed, will supervise mechanics, engineering inspectors and subordinate titled personnel in the maintenance, construction, repair and inspection of substations and associated substation equipment and structures. Orders, coordinates and ensures availability and timely delivery of materials, supplies and equipment. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan. Responsibilities

Supervise Operators (Senior Substation Operators, Assistant Substation Operators, GUWs, etc.) most of the time in the operation of substation equipment.
As needed, supervise mechanics, engineering inspectors and subordinate titled personnel in the maintenance, construction, repair and inspection of substations and associated substation equipment and structures.
Order, coordinate and ensure availability and timely delivery of materials, supplies and equipment.
