About The Position

Natural Factors is a large Manufacturing company based in Coquitlam, with manufacturing and warehouse facilities across the Lower Mainland. A Canadian family business, we strive to ensure our staff feel happy, and supported in their job and career growth, through thorough training, high safety standards and integrity in leadership. We are looking for a Supervisor of Operations in our Warehouse in Coquitlam. This is a new role, as we are adding a Supervisor to the afternoon shift. We are looking to tighten up on safety and improve on our employee training.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably a GMP facility
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including pivot tables, formulas, and graphs
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
Ability to build a team, manage conflict and maintain strong employee relations

Nice To Haves

Experience in operations management, business, engineering, supply chain management is an asset
Forklift and powered equipment experience is preferred; willingness and ability to complete forklift certification (training will be provided)

Responsibilities

Supervise, direct, prioritize and coordinate activities related to the warehouse department, to maintain quality and maximize productivity while minimizing cost
Support the team’s success by ensuring staff are properly trained, motivated and performing to the required standard, and provide recognition and feedback as appropriate
Maintain a high level of integrity to ensure all staff are being treated on a fair and consistent basis
Take initiative to implement process changes and ensure continuous improvement is embraced by all staff
Ensure product is received, handled, stored and picked in a safe and timely manner to effectively fulfill Operations and Distribution requirements
Coordinate with other supervisors and supporting departments to ensure continuous operations
