About The Position

L3Harris Technologies Company is seeking a dynamic Operations Management Supervisor to join our Huntsville, Al team. The Operations Management Supervisor directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. This internship is an opportunity for the service member to gain a full understanding of the job position outlined below. L3Harris’ DoD SkillBridge is connecting transitioning service members to career training opportunities within our organization. We will provide service members with valuable civilian work experience through industry specific training, certifications and on the job experience during their DoD SkillBridge internship to help them ready themselves for their next mission. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant Operations Management experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related Operations Management experience.
• Active member of the U.S. Military with 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of separation.
• At least 180 continuous days of active service.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the team and run the daily SQDIP meetings.
• Conduct daily safety walks of areas.
• Manage the job functions for each team member and program.
• Plan the production for each week.
• Address all issues reviewed with team.
• Approve team member’s time.
• Review metrics for improvements.
