About The Position

Responsible for the daily operations of supply chain operations. Supervises the work of all assigned employees. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ensures that regular receipts are processed and delivered to customers within 24 hours of delivery to the organization’s loading dock and that all overnight shipments are processed and delivered on the date of receipt.
Ensures that all requisitions from the warehouse are filled accurately and delivered to the customer the next business day.
Responsible for monitoring daily inventory and replenishment of all par closet locations that are the responsibility of supply chain.
Ensures that all requests for par changes are completed expeditiously.
Stock out situations will be identified promptly by the supply chain tech to the Supervisor and communicated to the Operations Manager and stock buyer.
Works with the buyer to expedite, identify substitutes and distribute emergency deliveries upon receipt.
Participates in the hiring, training, annual evaluations and disciplinary action, if needed, of all employees in the distribution department in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
Ensures the daily tracking of the 856 (auto-receiving) and that the transactions are working and correctly applying to the purchase order.
Immediately share with the Operations Manager any issues with the 856 (auto-receiving) failing.
Working with organization employees and customers, suppliers, and distributors to ensure low waste/expiration of supplies.
Collaboration will also be necessary to ensure product moves smoothly from warehouse to distribution locations.
