About The Position

Oversee and supervise daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD), ensuring the proper management of emergency instrumentation, staffing support, and workflow continuity, primarily covering weekends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Sterile Processing Department (SPD) experience
• 2+ years of documented Manager Supervisor experience
• Completed one travel contract
• Proficient in maintaining compliance with standards from organizations such as Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and The Joint Commission infection prevention guidelines
• Sterile processing technician either CRCST or CBSPDT via HSPA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily SPD operations, including weekend coverage, emergency instrumentation, staffing support, and workflow continuity.
• Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate staff, implementing process improvements and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive results, maintain compliance, and ensure high-quality patient care.
