About The Position

The Supervisor of Imaging Services is accountable to maintain organizational function of the Department by assisting staff in performance of patient care activities in assigned locations. Supervises department staff, assists in budget development and meeting of budgetary goals. Possesses leadership and communication skills and is able to use these skills to anticipate and intervene as problems arise in the Department. Collaborates with the Manager(s) and Director(s) of the reporting department(s) and other members of the health care team to supervise overall department operations. This position is comprised of supervisory activities with clinical support as necessary.

Requirements

  • AA from an accredited radiology program required.
  • For radiation-producing modality Supervisor positions, must have ARRT certification in modality to be supervised.
  • If supervising more than one area, must have specialty certification in at least one of the modalities.
  • Annual renewal of ARRT is required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence of renewal by primary source verification.
  • Washington State license required for Radiology, and MRI/CT supervisor positions.
  • Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of renewal by primary source verification.
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Five years preferred clinical experience.
  • Lead technologist and/or supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • Computer skills preferred to include Excel, Word, and applications such as PACS, Meditech.
