The Facilities Management Division (FMD) administers and supervises the maintenance of Department buildings, identifies and implements capital projects involving facility management, and exercises management control over the Building Maintenance Section, Campus Management Section, and the Custodial Services Section. The Campus Management Section is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Supervisor of Mechanical Installations and Maintenance, Level I to perform the duties which includes, but are not limited to: - Supervises and coordinates the work of mechanics and installation personnel engaged in the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment and systems - Assigns tasks, monitors performance, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards - Provides technical guidance, inspects completed work, and troubleshoots complex issues - Maintains records, manages schedules, and coordinates with vendors and other departments to support operations - Responsible for enforcing safety protocols, training staff, and ensuring proper use of tools, materials, and equipment.
