About The Position

Requirements
- Three to five years experience as a Supervisor in health care materials management preferred
- Management skills of planning, organizing, prioritizing and staffing.
- Computer skills
- Working knowledge of logistics, business ethics, math and business management
Responsibilities
- Provides professional support in the areas of supply processing, distribution, purchasing, receiving and inventory management.
- Manages and controls the flow of supplies and equipment from acquisition to disposition.
- Oversees supply and capital budgets, inventory control, and asset management.
- Ensures adherence to organizational contracts and group purchasing agreements for supplies and equipment.
- Responsible for department budget adherence and requisite review and analysis of departmental operations reports.
- Responsible for attendance and participation in designated hospital committees.
- Assures that department operations adhere to guidelines per the state, accreditation, and all other agencies.
