About The Position

As a Lab Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader, directly contributing to the development of annual departmental goals, objectives, and budget, while actively facilitating their achievement and ensuring ongoing evaluation of results for continuous improvement. Requirements

• Clinical Lab Scientist: CA (CLS:CA)
• Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical sciences, as defined by CLIA
• Minimum of five (5) years at a moderate or high complexity laboratory
• Familiarity with financial management, Human Resources, Equipment Management, Quality Management, Physician Relations, Workflow Design are key skills to be successful

Nice To Haves

• One year experience as a supervisor or higher

Responsibilities

• Establish effective scheduling to ensure all standing commitments are met.
• Manages workflow and evaluates effectiveness of assignments
• Provides high quality, effective clinical education services
• Writes and obtains approval for any policies or standard operating procedures related to Clinical Education functions
• Supervises clinical educators and ensures high quality education services.
• Develops staff and conducts performance reviews
