About The Position

Directions for Living is seeking a Supervisor of Baby Cat to oversee the daily operations of a program designed to provide services to children and families in the dependency system to expedite their reunification. This role involves supervising master's prepared clinicians, intensive case managers, and peer mentors, and monitoring group therapy facilitation. The Supervisor will lead discussions to identify family needs and resources, establish safety and treatment plans, and collaborate with various stakeholders including dependency case management, school liaisons, and community providers. The position also involves shared decision-making for increased visitation, incorporating reunification policies, and participating in the on-call schedule. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring program performance and contractual measures, as well as provider billable productivity. As an essential services provider, employees must be willing to provide support during emergencies.

Requirements

  • Must hold a master’s degree in Social Work or related area of study from an accredited university.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of documented supervisory experience.
  • Must have a minimum of two years of experience working with at-risk populations to include families experiencing substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health, and emotionally disturbed children.
  • Must become certified as a Wraparound Facilitator in high fidelity Wraparound and become certified as a Wraparound Facilitator Supervisor/Coach within 3 months of employment.
  • Willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation.

Nice To Haves

  • Florida licensure as a LMFT, LMHC or LCSW preferred, but not required.
  • Preference will be given to individuals who are currently certified as a Wraparound Facilitator Supervisor/Coach in high fidelity Wraparound.
  • Previous child welfare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operations of the program designed to expedite services to children and families in the dependency system to expedite their reunification.
  • Supervising the master's prepared clinicians, the intensive case managers, and peer mentors.
  • Monitoring the facilitation of client offered group therapy.
  • Leading discussions to identify the needs and resources for the family.
  • Establishing creative and effective safety and treatment plans.
  • Working in collaboration with the dependency case management supervisor and dependency case manager, the school liaisons, and other community providers to review the treatment plan progress alongside the current case plan compliance.
  • Engaging in a shared decision-making process when approving increased visitation for the children and families who are currently in out of home care.
  • Working alongside the Assistant Director of Child Safety and will incorporate the reunification policy into the staffings when reunification is imminent.
  • Participating in and the implementation of the on-call schedule.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and program performance for contractual performance measures and for the provider's billable productivity requirements.
