About The Position

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for our Nursing Administration Department. This is a per diem, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer. The first 8 hours are compensated at the regular base rate, and the remaining 4 hours are paid at the applicable overtime rate.

Requirements

• Current California RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• 3 years in the role of Administrative Supervisor preferred.
• PALS preferred.
• AB 508 training, Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the on-site administrative resource for the facility.
• Collaborates, coordinates, and communicates with administration, physicians, and the entire management team to facilitate the delivery of quality patient care.
• Serves as a role model by providing leadership and expertise.
• Acts as a clinical resource for other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Responds to the needs and requests of others quickly and efficiently.
• Assists others in completing tasks or duties for improved customer satisfaction.
