About The Position

The Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine oversees and coordinates nuclear medicine procedures and activities performed by assigned staff. The supervisor works with radiologists and department management to carry out department and hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The role requires strong interpersonal and technical skills, demonstrated leadership, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving abilities. Employees are expected to promote a culture of safety, follow established policies, and comply with state and federal regulations, Joint Commission requirements, and National Patient Safety standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• State of Florida HRS licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification/registry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 3–5 years of related experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal and technical skills.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Ability to use sound judgment and solve problems effectively.
