We have a great opportunity for IKCA Supervisor! The ideal candidate accomplishes company objectives by supervising the daily operations of a team of IKCA's. The Integrated Kidney Care division of DaVita Kidney Care, is at the center of DaVita’s strategy for the future and our commitment to provide integrated care to one of the most medically complex patient populations in the US. Our more than 600 dedicated nurses, care coordinators, nurse practitioners (NPs) and business professionals integrate and manage care for more than 20,000 patients with late-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end stage renal disease (ESRD) across the US each month. Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience Healthcare
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in leadership
  • High school diploma or equivalency

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision to the IKCA Team
  • Organize, monitor, evaluate, and manage workflow
  • Provide work direction
  • Conduct formal and ad hoc training
  • Develop and foster a positive, fulfilling work environment
  • Manage all teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, and disciplinary actions with appropriate approvals as required
  • Address teammate relations issues appropriately, and in a timely manner
  • Facilitates teammate development (PDRs, coaching, mentoring, training); collaborates with direct reports to create professional development goals
  • Knows, understands, and follows teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
  • Knows and understands basic wage & hour laws, federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Review and approve time for non-exempt direct reports
  • Track overtime, attendance and PTO
  • Attend and/or lead team meetings, phone conferences and trainings as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
