About The Position

ENWIN Utilities Ltd. is currently accepting applications for the vacant position of Supervisor, Metering Services. This position is responsible for providing oversight, support and guidance to the Metering Services staff and ensuring the efficient operation and administration of metering services, including ensuring accurate data collection, field activities and maintaining the integrity of the metering infrastructure. The role involves management of meter reading data, revenue protection, customer satisfaction, scheduling and dispatching of meter-related assignments, troubleshooting metering system issues, ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing metering performance data, developing standard operating procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

  • College diploma in Business, Electrical or Civil Engineering, Computer Systems, Data Science and minimum 3 years' similar or related experience OR OSSD and 10 years' experience working with meters and meter-related operations in a utilities environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and manage a team
  • Technical knowledge of electrical/water metering system
  • Proficiency using Office 365, SAP, NorthStar, MV90 xi, Metersense
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with various metering IT systems is considered an asset
  • Experience working in a utility industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing oversight, support and guidance to the Metering Services staff.
  • Ensuring the efficient operation and administration of metering services.
  • Ensuring accurate data collection and field activities.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the metering infrastructure.
  • Management of meter reading data ensuring accuracy, revenue protection, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support scheduling and dispatching of meter-related assignments to staff.
  • Work in conjunction with Supervisory and Engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve metering system issues.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and departmental adherence to Measurement Canada, OEB, ESA, IESO and internal policies.
  • Conduct analysis on data gathered related to metering performance, meter data and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards at all times.
