About The Position

This full-time position involves directing, coordinating, and monitoring the activities of hourly employees engaged in the production or processing of goods. The role requires coordinating the flow of materials with other departments, estimating worker hour requirements, and maintaining departmental overtime and attendance records. The Supervisor will also plan, read, and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records to determine production requirements and evaluate current production estimates and outputs. The working hours are Sunday - Wednesday, 7:30 pm - 6:00 am, with a requirement for casual overtime. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, materials handling, or industrial engineering and 5 years of materials supervision, logistics, or supply chain experience; or 9 years of materials supervision, logistics or supply chain experience

Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, and the employee must have the ability to adjust focus.
While performing tasks of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer inside the facility.
Finally, this position occasionally requires the employee to be in contact with hazardous conditions.

Strong knowledge of KanBan and sequential replenishment processes
Strong knowledge of maintaining inventory/accountability records
Knowledge of MTU products, policies and procedures
