About The Position

We are seeking a Manufacturing Support Supervisor to join our IOPS Manufacturing team in Rensselaer, providing direction and leadership to our Manufacturing Support teams across clean room operations. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, documentation, and sample management, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements — while serving as a key liaison between Manufacturing and cross-functional partners. Requirements

  • BS/BA degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment with familiarity with clean room operations, inventory management, and manufacturing documentation preferred
  • Gowning and Physical Requirements: Role is performed in a cGMP clean room environment; gowning requirements apply per site SOPs
  • Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)
  • Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all aspects of Manufacturing Support, including inventory levels for clean room materials and supplies, manufacturing sample management, documentation, and coordination of manufacturing needs
  • Analyze, interpret, and report assessment results; prepare reports by collecting and summarizing operational information and trends, making recommendations to management
  • Ensure compliance events are evaluated, initiated, and monitored; support manufacturing during regulatory inspections to address environmental, inventory, and material dispensing issues
  • Drive decision-making and develop and implement department policies; ensure policies and procedures are effectively administered and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Perform personnel management functions including annual evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions for both full-time and contract employees
  • Serve as liaison between Manufacturing and other functional areas, facilitating communication and coordination as needed
