About The Position

We are seeking a Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our Manufacturing team, providing leadership and direction to our Manufacturing Cleaning Technician team while overseeing microbial control across our clean room environments. In this role, you will plan and manage cleaning operations, drive regulatory compliance, and support environmental investigations — while collaborating with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality teams. Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant cGMP experience
  • Gowning: Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)
  • Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire
  • Ability to perform physical requirements for entirety of shift (up to 10 hours) in a clean room environment
  • Some physical requirements can include but not limited to: bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting, squatting, walking, standing, driving, hand manipulation and ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lb

Nice To Haves

  • BS/BA in Life Sciences or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in clean room operations, environmental monitoring, or manufacturing cleaning in a regulated biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical environment preferred
  • Familiarity with microbial control programs, waste disposal regulations, and environmental monitoring practices
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience including scheduling, performance management, and team development

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of clean room cleaning operations, including planning, scheduling, and providing work direction to the Manufacturing Cleaning Technician team to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Monitor cleaning schedules, progress, data, and work quality; implement the latest clean room technologies by staying current on industry trends
  • Conduct troubleshooting and provide support for environmental excursion investigations; monitor liquid and solid waste disposal programs to ensure proper handling and disposal
  • Partner with Procurement to manage and maintain vendor contracts in alignment with business needs
  • Develop and implement department policies and procedures; ensure effective administration and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support Manufacturing during regulatory inspections; provide input on long-term planning for processes, staffing, and budget
  • Perform personnel management functions including annual performance evaluations, coaching, and employee development
