About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring the functionality of machinery, and leading a team of employees. The supervisor will perform and diagnose hydraulic leaks and PMs, read electrical and blueprint schematics, and troubleshoot integrated circuits. They will also be involved in advanced pneumatic circuit design, welding, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. The position involves managing employee timecards, maintaining machine functionality, completing employee development plans, and coordinating maintenance and construction work. The supervisor will also meet with senior management to provide budgets and project status updates, conduct team meetings, provide feedback, and make promotion recommendations.

Requirements

  • Previous Supervisory experience.
  • Ability to read advanced electrical and blueprint schematics.
  • Experience with Integrated circuit troubleshooting; wire control circuits for 24VDC, and 120, 240, 480 VAC.
  • Advanced pneumatic circuit design.
  • Welding skills and experience with welding tools.
  • Ability to maintain machine functionality.
  • Ability to complete employee development plans, organize, communicate, and motivate employees.
  • Must be able to prioritize own work-day schedule.
  • 2-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Industrial Maintenance experience.
  • 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
  • Electronic’s theory; OHM’s Law; Hydraulics theory & functionality.
  • TS 16949 awareness.
  • ISO 14001 orientation / awareness training.

  • Excellent math skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Supervisory experience in injection molding.
  • Forklift experience. (Certification will be required).
  • Overhead crane experience (Certification will be required).

Responsibilities

  • Perform and diagnose hydraulic leaks and PMs.
  • Read advanced electrical and blueprint schematics.
  • Troubleshoot integrated circuits; wire control circuits for 24VDC, and 120, 240, 480 VAC.
  • Perform advanced pneumatic circuit design.
  • Utilize welding skills and experience with welding tools.
  • Ensure all employees follow safety guidelines.
  • Actively intervene to correct recognized unsafe actions and conditions.
  • Conduct daily observations of PPE use and safe work practices adherence and coach employees.
  • Ensure all accidents including first aid are reported.
  • Oversee hourly employee timecards, including approvals for overtime and vacation within the Infor system.
  • Size motor starters and overloads for application.
  • Maintain machine functionality.
  • Complete employee development plans, organize, communicate, and motivate employees.
  • Prioritize own work-day schedule.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and direct all necessary maintenance and construction work.
  • Make preliminary, intermediate, and final inspections of maintenance and construction work.
  • Meet with senior management regularly and provide monthly budgets and project status.
  • Conduct regular meetings with teams, provide objective or goal monitoring, conduct performance reviews, and make promotion recommendations or salary increases.
  • Travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
