About The Position

This role involves leading a maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Supervisor Maintenance will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance schedules, managing work orders, and overseeing budget and inventory. The position also requires responding to emergencies and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years in general maintenance.
At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Proven experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and machine repairs.
High School Diploma required.
Must be a US Citizen.
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including overtime and on-call availability.
Ability to resolve complex projects with minimal direction.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Trade school degree or vocational training is highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with both upper management and technical staff.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff, setting daily priorities and providing technical guidance.
Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other critical building systems.
Prioritize and assign work orders using CMMS, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
Enforce OSHA regulations and local safety codes, conducting inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs.
Monitor the maintenance budget and manage the inventory of tools and supplies.
Maintain facility SOPs and be on call for emergency response and adverse weather conditions.
