About The Position

We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Logistics Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence. You'll oversee a team of logistics professionals, monitor performance metrics, support inventory and receiving operations, and help ensure the department meets safety, quality, and productivity goals. As a key member of the logistics leadership team, you'll have the opportunity to influence operations, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the success of a growing organization.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a logistics, warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution environment
  • Experience managing employee performance and supporting daily operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage changing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or SAP
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain operations
  • APICS certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, or other continuous improvement training
  • Experience creating and managing performance metrics and reporting dashboards

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of 7 direct reports within a logistics department of approximately 60 employees
  • Create, maintain, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure department performance
  • Monitor daily logistics, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Process and manage employee timecards through ADP
  • Coach, train, and develop team members while providing ongoing performance feedback
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
  • Support staffing, scheduling, workflow planning, and resource allocation
  • Review operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer requirements
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices
  • Support overtime and occasional weekend operations as business needs require
