Requirements

  • Experience scheduling and directing employees.
  • A valid driver’s license with good vehicle operating record.

Nice To Haves

  • At least three years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the hiring and training of all employees within your assigned team in direct communication with your supervisor and within guidelines set forth by company policies. Assure the documented and continued growth of your team members.
  • Supervise, plan, and direct preventative maintenance and repair maintenance work within parameters set forth by company and area policies and procedures.
  • Know, understand, and enforce all sanitation and isolation procedures as set forth by live production policy, along with all company policies, rules, and/or guidelines.
  • Monitor and assure the implementation of all area maintenance programs designed to maintain all facilities and equipment.
  • Assist in developing and executing profit plans and capital expenditure plans on an annual basis, while being knowledgeable of resources needed for performance and setting objectives for improvement.
  • Assure that all employees are kept informed and involved in department activities and problem solving through a regular schedule of employee meetings, salaried meetings, and participation in problem solving teams.
  • Manage fleet of vehicles and trailers for the Central Region, keeping up on license and registration as well as DOT requirements expected.
  • Complete safety audits on all farm locations within the Central Area and assure that corrections are made by assigned maintenance team.
