About The Position
Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits. We offer a great place to work, with a friendly atmosphere and energetic work environment. We provide our customers with convenience, selection, and top-notch service! The Supervisor will provide support to management of a multimillion-dollar business unit, with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, understand customer needs, instill a customer mindset within the store, participate in stocking and merchandising of store, and ensure store is stocked and ready to serve our customers. This position will assist the Brown Jug Fairbanks Warehouse store (278) located at 599 Harold Bently Ave, Fairbanks 99701.
Requirements
- Customer service driven, friendly, and willing to talk to all customers
- Available to work a varied retail schedule, including evening and weekends
- Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for an extended period
- Comfortable climbing ladders
- Employees must work in compliance with OHS acts and regulations
- Use personal protective equipment and clothing as directed
- Report workplace hazards and dangers to your manager or Health and Safety Representative
- Report all accidents and incidents immediately to their manager and document accordingly
- Report all broken or damaged equipment to your manager and document accordingly
Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary customer service
- Utilize the 5 Non-Negotiables: Greet, Engage, Build, Add-on, and Thank
- Ensure all merchandising and pricing guidelines are followed
- Ensure store is clean and presentable and action any maintenance issues
- Complete customer transactions on the Point-of-Sale (POS) device, including payment
- Ensure all cash handling policies and procedures are adhered to
