About The Position
Vitalant is hiring a Laboratory Supervisor to bring skilled technical support to our Blood Manufacturing team. Your impact as a supervisor is vital. This role requires a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to lead a dynamic team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency required or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required.
- State licensure (as required by regulations).
- One year of laboratory experience required.
Nice To Haves
- BB or SBB preferred.
- Two years supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Promote a work team environment and participate as an active team member.
- Ensure all lab functions are covered (hire, supervisor, train, maintain team schedules).
- Review and evaluation production and quality of all products.
