In this role, the Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for organizing and directing the daily activities of the laboratory section assigned. Maintain adequate inventory and supplies. Responsible for validity of test results, quality control and quality assurance. Participates in continuing education program. Has the authority to recommend, select, discipline, and discharge personnel. This is a full-time evening shift position 2:00pm-10:00pm including rotating weekends/holidays, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree
NYS Clinical Lab Technologist license by Dept. of Education.
Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience or 2 years of clinical laboratory experience with master’s degree or 1 years of experience with a MD, DO or doctoral degree in a chemical, physical or biological science

Nice To Haves

ASCP certification.
Master's Degree
2 years of additional experience
