About The Position

This is a fully onsite role based at our Global Central Laboratory in West Chester, OH. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 5 years).
1+ year of leadership responsibility
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.
Directly supervises individual contributors, administrative support and / or entry-level professionals.

Responsibilities

Plan appropriate staffing levels to meet business and client needs.
Serve as subject matter expert for the software used within the department.
Manage team workload as needed and assist with key performance indicator Matrices to surface inefficiencies and assist in providing solutions.
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the department to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure all aspects of site deliverables meet the client’s needs (kits, manuals, instruction sheets, etc).
Review department processes, training and SOPs to improve service and efficiency within the department. Assess and implement new training for new hires and/or process changes.
Contribute to the development of user requirements for improving and enhancing services.
Actively assist during sponsor audits.
Manage staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, behavioral and technical coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approve courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Review and approve time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime.
