About The Position

The Supervisor - IT Technician enthusiastically promotes Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations. This position oversees the setup of workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices, assists the IT Manager and Director of IT in the design, coordination, and installation of IT solutions, and checks computer hardware to ensure efficiency. The role supervises the installation and configuration of appropriate software and functions according to specifications, develops and maintains local networks to optimize performance, and ensures the security and privacy of networks and computer systems. Additionally, the Supervisor - IT Technician provides orientation and guidance to users on operating new software and computer equipment, organizes and schedules upgrades and maintenance, performs troubleshooting, maintains records of repairs and maintenance, identifies computer shortages and places orders, and selects, trains, and develops team members. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds
Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead
The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Oversee the set of up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etcetera)
Assist the IT Manager and Director of IT in the design, coordination, and installation of IT solutions
Check computer hardware to ensure efficiency
Supervise the installation and configuration of appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
Maintain records and logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules
Identify computer shortages and place orders
Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
Perform other duties as assigned
