About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Shift Supervisor to oversee the personnel and processes involved in the JROC Stockroom and Order Fulfillment area. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of tasks across the Configuration, Kitting, Crane, OEM, and the Stockroom. The Supervisor will supervise and manage the 2nd shift team, ensuring all order fulfillment and Stockroom processes are executed efficiently and accurately. This position will collaborate with other leadership members on the 2nd shift to strategically reallocate labor and resources as needed to meet operational demands. Additionally, the candidate will maintain open communication with the Manager of Inventory Management to provide updates and address any potential issues promptly.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years prior experience, OR 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 6 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

Track record providing leadership and / or supervision to a materials team in a fast-paced environment.
CPIM / CLTD Certification through APICS or equivalent is desired.
5 + years of experience using MRP, ERP, or WMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the personnel and processes involved in the JROC Stockroom and Order Fulfillment area.
Ensure the efficient and accurate completion of tasks across Configuration, Kitting, Crane, OEM, and the Stockroom.
Supervise and manage the 2nd shift team, ensuring all order fulfillment and Stockroom processes are executed efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with other leadership members on the 2nd shift to strategically reallocate labor and resources as needed to meet operational demands.
Maintain open communication with the Manager of Inventory Management to provide updates and address any potential issues promptly.
Analyze, summarize and/or review data; interpret results, report findings and/or make recommendations.
Contribute to the management of the organization’s inventory, shipping and receiving ensuring controls are in place to support corporate policies and procedures.
Provide critical financial information related to demand/build, inventory levels and revenue.
Manage Inventory Control related tasks that support TCOM.
Provide Key Performance Indicators for the organization as it relates to inventory level in stock and work in progress.
Monitor and review timely delivery of material in support of the sales order plan.
Create and roll out processes that ensure best practices are used in relation to inventory reduction, including lean manufacturing concepts.
Support all CI initiatives related to production control and material handling.
Ensure the material team adheres to the inventory cycle count program and year end WIP counts.
Set and evaluate department measures in accordance with QCS (Quality Cost and Schedule).
Ensure the care, control, and safe storage of inventory is in place at all times.
Manage scrap material and related material control processes.
