About The Position

Administers and operates inventory control program or warehouses. Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods). Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. Performs processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities. Audits goods received into warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.

Requirements

  • Experience in administering and operating inventory control programs or warehouses.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
  • Ability to maintain controls over various types of inventories.
  • Skills in analyzing inventory levels and coordinating with production and sales.
  • Understanding of operating procedures, space utilization, and facility maintenance.
  • Experience in processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to account for all materials and supplies.
  • Experience in auditing goods received into a warehouse.
  • Skills in overseeing receipt, storage, and shipment of materials.
  • Ability to prepare and coordinate shipping and receiving schedules.
