This role supervises the day-to-day activities of assigned Inspectors by planning work and adjusting assignments to respond to changing priorities. This is a working supervisor responsible for performing inspection duties as part of the team and serves as a subject matter expert for the rest of the team. Supervisors are also responsible for the selection, training, and performance management of team members. Supervisors are expected to ensure that a safe and orderly work area is maintained, and to ensure team compliance with Company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Further, Supervisors are expected to set the tone and lead by example with their behavior, communication, work performance, and attendance. This role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore, qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15): An individual who is granted U.S. citizenship, or An individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (i.e., a "Green Card" holder), or An individual who is granted status as a "protected person".
